Aparna Gupta is a licensed clinical psychologist holding the degree of MPhil in Clinical Psychology from Amity University, NOIDA. and a special educator, with an experience spanning 15+ years. She has worked both in India and abroad in private practice as well as in schools. She is a licensed Cognitive Behaviour Therapist (CBT) supervisor and an expert CBT practitioner having trained under eminent psychologist Dr. Andrew Beck, NHS, UK. She deals with Dementia, Addiction, Schizophrenia, Delusional Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Phobias, Panic, OCD, Somatoform Disorders, Behavioural Disorders, Personality Disorders as well as counselling on relationship issues. She has held multiple teacher/parent workshops on awareness of special needs and skill building in various schools in India and Ghana. She has vast knowledge and experience in disorders such as Learning Disorders, Intellectual Disability, Autism, ADHD and Conduct Disorder and has successfully dealt with issues such as social skills deficit, poor academic performance, relationship issues and behaviour problems among students. Skills development in this area includes being a certified Audiblox instructor and a PREP and COGENT trainer, as well as Brain Gym teacher. All programs help individuals with special needs.
